Cora Jaeschke

Cora Jaeschke is a California based artist, with a focus on Illustration and animation. Currently her professional work is focused around themes of intimacy, and small everyday moments through the lens of a painterly surrealistic style.

Cora’s initial love of art started at a young age where classes on storytelling, and traditional drawing fundamentals fostered her imagination. Upon completion of high school, Cora won her first award in Visual Media, then dedicating herself to art and storytelling by moving to the Bay Area where she was accepted into the Illustration program at the  Academy of Art University. After receiving her Associate’s Degree, Cora began freelance work in various mediums: graphic design, illustration, storyboards and short cycle animations for private clients and studios.

Cora’s main drive is to gain knowledge in the animation and entertainment field. Ultimately, Cora hopes to leverage all of her experience and knowledge into creating her own animation studio where she can actualize her passions for storytelling and animation.

In her downtime, Cora enjoys hiking, traveling, urban exploring and trains extensively in martial arts, usually with her partner and their pit-bull pup “Neena”. Cora has found that these life experiences not only inspire but give a richness to her art.
